Category: Well, I hate to stoop to stalking Twitter to give my readers their daily dose of Russell Brand news, but with ol’ Russ laying low this week, he’s leaving me without much choice! 
Seriously, though, Brand is tucked away in Italy this week, busily at work on the follow-up to his best-selling autobiography My Booky Wook. Last night, he popped in for a visit on his Twitter page, just long enough to describe the Italian scenery and to let fans know he is thinking of them and misses them. Personally, I’m quite impressed by Brand’s self-discipline. Well done!
The working title of Brand’s new book is My Booky Wook 2, and it picks up where My Booky Wook left off. Russell Brand has packed a whole lot of living into his relatively young life, more than enough to fill a second book.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, a week without Russell has been a sad and lonely week indeed. But never fear, Brand is winging his way back to the United States early next week to start rehearsals for Get Him to the Greek … and just in time to appear at a book signing for My Booky Wook, which is currently residing happily in the top ten on the New York Times Best Seller list.
Brand will be at the Barnes and Noble at the Grove in Los Angeles on Friday, May 1st, at 7:30 p.m.
